Legal workspace renovation
Project – DLA Piper
DLA Piper hired Greiner Constructionto provide Pre-construction and Construction services for their high-end interior build-out on nearly one-half of the 28th floor within the IDS Center.
The scope of work included working from the shell and turning the space into offices, conference rooms, break room, video conference rooms, copy center, server room, and reception/lobby area for the law firm.
A few of the unique characteristics throughout the office is the materials and 12-foot ceiling that create the open feel while in the space. As you walk into the offices, you are greeted by the Calcutta marble flooring, the custom Mozambique veneer walls, and the Arco glass office and conference room fronts with custom painted frames. Each office features wool carpet, occupancy sensors, and a spectacular view of downtown Minneapolis.
As construction commenced, Greiner continued to diligently work with subcontractors to source all the long-lead material items. To ensure we remained on schedule for DLA’s move-in date, Greiner’s project team performed construction tasks out of normal sequence by carefully monitoring and forecasting material delivery dates for installation.
This fast-tracked DLA Piper project was completed in 9 weeks.
